We are glad to announce that the album Pieśni/Songs of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, issued by DUX recording label in 2016 was nominated for Fryderyk Awards 2017 in the chamber music category. The recording received a very pleasant welcome of the critic and was broadcasted a few times, in excerpts, by Polish Radio Dwójka. Karol Kozłowski and Anna Radziejewska (mezzosoprano) accompanied by Agnieszka Hoszowska-Jabłońska (piano) registered all songs of the composer written for voice and piano. Let us also remind you that Karol Kozłowski was a nominee of the Fryderyk Award Academy in 2013 for Franz Schubert’s Die schöne Müllerin. The pianist on this recording released also by DUX was Jolanta Pawlik.
The winners will be announced on the 24th of April 2017 in the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warsaw.
