Johann Wolfgang von Goethe has been inspiring for artists for more than 200 years. Karol Kozłowski sang in a special concert of songs to his poetry, together with Caroline Melzer (soprano), Axel Baun (piano) and Jan Philip Schulz (piano). The compositions were written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Hugo Wolf, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Ludwig van Beethoven. There were also three contemporary premiere songs of Bernhard Lang, Aribert Reimann and Manfred Trojahn in the repertoire.
The concert took place on the 15th of February in Grunelius-Saal at Holzhausenschlösschen (Frankfurt).
