The Barber of Seville at the Polish Royal Opera


Karol Kozłowski  has already performed the role of Count Amaviva in The Barber of Seville at the Wrocław Opera and at the Latvian National Opera in Riga. He will sing the role again in Warsaw in the new production of the Polish Royal Opera. Gioacchino Rossini’s evergreen comedy will be directed by Jitka Stokalska. The author of the staging and the costumes is Marlena Skoneczko. The Orchestra of the Polish Royal Opera will be conducted by Dawid Runtz. The vocal cast will be completed by Iwona Handzlik (Rosina), Tomasz Rak (Figaro), Dariusz Machej (Bartolo) and Wojciech Gierlach (Basilio). The premiere will be held on the 20th of December 2019 at 7 pm at the Royal Theatre in the Old Orangery of the Royal Łazienki in Warsaw.
