This June Karol Kozłowski sang the role of Settembrini in the world premiere of ‘The Magic Mountain’ – a completely new opera based on Thomas Mann’s famous novel, written by a Polish renowned composer Paweł Mykietyn.
Andrzej Chyra, director and actor, staged the piece, together with Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk (playwright) and Mirosław Bałka (visual artist).
Three performances of this unique composition were the highlights in this year’s Malta Festival edition.
