Two evenings at the Warsaw Philharmonic


On the 21st of March 2019 at the Concert Hall of the Warsaw Philharmonic the oratorio Le Roi David by Arthur Honegger was performed. The Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus and the Warsaw University Choir were conducted by Paweł Kapuła. The soloists of the concert were singers: Olga Pasiecznik, Marcjanna Myrlak and Karol Kozłowski and the actors in the speaking roles – Danuta Stenka and Tomasz Nosiński. On Tuesday the 7th of May 2019 at the 200th anniversary of Stanisław Moniuszko’s birthday a very special concert will be held also at the Warsaw Philharmonic. We will hear all four Litanies of Ostra Brama of the composer in a rare chamber version for solo voices, choir and piano (instead of orchestra). The singers: Marta Boberska, Ewa Marciniec, Karol Kozłowski and Patryk Rymanowski and the pianist Ewa Wilczyńska, supported by the Warsaw Philharmonic Choir will be conducted by Bartosz Michałowski.
